Bluemetrix Privacy Notice

Bluemetrix Ltd will be known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information or location based information. This does however include name, address, email, phone numbers.

Why we need your data

We need to know your basic personal data in order to provide you with continuous updates and services in line with this overall contract. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you.

We may also need your personal data to comply with statuary and regulatory provisions.

What we do with your data

All the personal data we process is processed by our staff in the EU and for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance this information is located on servers within the European Union. No 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.

We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data. More information on this framework can be found on our website.

How long we keep your data

We are required under EU law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 5 years after which time it will be destroyed. Your information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

We would however like to use your name and email address to inform you of our future. This information is not shared with third purposes and you can unsubscribe at any time via phone, email or our website.

What are your rights

If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect, you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us to have the matter investigated.

Bluemetrix act as a Data Controller and is also a Data Processor as per to article 4 of the EU GDPR as indicated below:

  • Controller – “means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data”

  • Processor – “means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller”

Retention Schedule
2 Years
  • Operational records
    Operational records are records that you need to get a job done. Once that job is done, you will generally not need them. Two years allows you to keep this year’s and the last year’s records so you can look at what you did last year, but any records in the category will not need to be kept for any longer than two years. This category includes duplicates of records that you are using for information only where the original is being kept elsewhere.

  • Controlled waste records
    For example: having the documents relating to a previous presentation will assist you to prepare for the current presentation. After the presentation, you will not need the previous presentation information.
